Ordinary people, making an extraordinary difference
Advocates for Children has announced the winners of its annual CASA for Kids Playhouse Raffle.
Nykki Boersma of Greensburg was selected as the winner of the playhouse castle constructed by Columbus Boy Scout Jonathan Bostelman as his Eagle Project, and Peggy Kline of Columbus was selected as the winner of the “Colonial Cottage” playhouse constructed as a service project by Jim Clarkson’s class at Jennings County High School.
The playhouses, which toured Bartholomew, Jennings and Decatur Counties prior to their raffling, raised over $13,000 in support of Advocates for Children’s mission to provide qualified, trained advocates for children who have been the victims of abuse and neglect.
