Ordinary people, making an extraordinary difference
This month's inservice offered by Advocates for Children will be providing information regarding IN*SOURCE, the Indiana Resource Center for Families with Special Needs.
This will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the services the organization provides to parents and families of children with special education needs and to providers and professionals who may be responsible for assuring that children and young adults with disabilities are receiving appropriate assistance.
The program will include discussion of specific services, resources, and suport mechanisms which will enhance our ability to navigate Article 7, Indiana's special education law.
For the in-service opportunity, Advocates for Children will be offering two sessions. Please feel free to attand either session.
Monday, Feb. 27th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Brown Bag Special!)
Presenter: Sandy Fields, Program Specialist for Jennings and Decatur Counties
Wednesday, Feb. 29th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Presenter: April Blair, Program Specialist for Bartholomew County
Both sessions will be held in the Advocates for Children training room, located in our office at 1531 13th St., Suite 2107, Columbus, IN 47201.
